Jared had his birthday party today. He wanted a pirate party so I got hats, eye patches and swords for all the kids, we had a treasure hunt and they each had a little treasure chest filled with gold and candy with their names on it. We played a few pirate games and the boys had fun just running around being pirates. I made him a treasure chest cake and I'm pretty impressed with myself. I'm not the best creator but this cake was super easy. I made it the night before and when I woke up some of the icing had run in the front but it still was delish. Here's a few pictures from the day. His actual birthday is tomorrow on the 7th. I can't believe my little baby boy is 4. So crazy how time flies!!!

Well the cake looks good, I was picturing a chest ..not a open one. Yours was better. Got to tell you though, looks like a Carol cake!!! lol.....is it mom's icing recipe?? Look at all those cute boys, I bet JAred had a good time...
