So today we did it. I have been contemplating it for awhile since it was just looking bad, it needed to be done. It was like ripping off a band aid, just do it fast and get it over with, then it won't be so bad....right?? I just sat her down, gave Jana the scissors and that was it, quick and painless. The after math is a little more painful. I miss it. It was so long and could be done in so many cute ways but with all the uneven layers and cowlicks (sp?? haha) there needed to be a remedy. What did we do?? We cut Mady's hair. Now that its over and done with, her hair looks thicker and healthier and she looks older and deep down inside....really deep.....I am greatful we did it and it'll grow out again.....one day.

Apparently Brett either thinks she looks pretty stinking fabulous OR that his mom did some whacked out job and can't quite figure out who this girl is he is looking at ;)
I'm sure it is cute. When we cut Ellison's hair I looked at her funny for days. Now it is all back, longer than it was before and definitely thicker and more appealing!
Can't wait to see the front of it tho!!
I need to do this to Samantha's hair again...sadly. It makes it so hard to cut when doing so makes it so short! I totally understand how you feel.
It's gone, it's really gone. Well it looks thicker I bet! It will be nice to have it grow-out all one length.
Nice scissors Jana! How much did those set you back? Oh wait, I mean how much did those set ME back!
Oh my my, I am so debating this RIGHT NOW! Kyla's hair is the same way, long but stringy and just not the cutest sometimes. I keep "trimming" it cuz I have waited so long for her hair but I am leaning towards maybe cutting an inch off first and see...baby steps right!
I think it looks cute and I would love to see a picture from the front!! Oh and i'm coming to Cardston this weekend, come to the craft show in Magrath on Saturday i'd love to see you! I won't be at church though, i'm heading out that morning.
