Jared's first official day of Kindergarten.
Yesterday was just orientation and when I left to go have the parent/teacher orientation, he gave me a big loooooooong hug and right then I knew he was gonna cry. I looked at his face and asked if he was gonna cry and he said no but I could tell he was trying to be big and brave and was trying to hold it in. It was really so cute and eventually his eyes filled and a little tear fell. But that was it. Big improvement from last year when he cried and screamed and I had to leave him like that. It just shows that he's not my little man anymore and is growing up.
He's been ready to go since 9:00am. He's really excited and so am I. I'm not the crying mom, for now. We will see what happens when he doesn't need me anymore.
