YAY ME!

Today, while talking to my good friend Mishel, I realized that in the last 2 weeks, I have kept up with every chore in my house.....even laundry (which is a HUGE accomplishment for me since I hate laundry with every fiber of my being and growl at the machines when I go in there. I just really hate them that much).

I see something dirty, I have to clean it.

And as some of you know, this is not a common occurrence in my home. If I don't feel like doing something, I won't. If I feel like I want to sit on my trash all day and do nothing, I will, even if my house does need a little TLC. I make sure the kids are dressed, fed, and not dead. As long as they are ok, that is all that matters.

Is it early nesting??

As I pause and look around at my house, I notice my walls. They need to be washed, all of them. (Jana, send over your kids, I will pay them)

Then I realize I haven't touched the basement in a while and that even though everything looks really nice, once you open a closet you quickly realize where it all went.

So nesting??? I think not. If it was, my basement would be clean, my closets organized and I wouldn't be hiring out the wall washing.

Now I don't feel so accomplished. Actually, I lied. Yes I do. The laundry is all clean and folded and put away and it has been for 2 weeks. For me, that is pure awesomeness.
